CNN’s usually-stoic Anderson Cooper --giggled like a little boy while reporting on French actor Gerard Depardieu’s tinkle on a airplane...
Anderson Cooper (CNN): “So after Gerard took his little solo flight to urination the plane had to turn around and go back to the gate and some unlucky cleaning crew had to deal with the Golden Globe winning tinkle. Now all I can say is they should thank their lucky stars it wasn’t Depar-two.”

The blogger adds..
“I don't know who wrote the commentary that Anderson read on air, but I'm wondering if that person is looking for friends because I'd sure like to meet them, shake their hand, and buy them a beer.”
But will a loosened-up Cooper have any effect on the ratings? The New York Times reports the silver-haired anchor has been attracting fewer viewers than his predecessor did in that time slot.
“According to Nielsen data, ‘Anderson Cooper 360’ had an average of 502,000 viewers each night last week, compared with the 544,000 viewers that the program led by Mr. Spitzer, ‘In The Arena,’ averaged in the most recent quarter of the year...”
