Santa Claus came early to one Atlanta home--except instead of delivering presents, he tried to steal them. Check out this video from WSB.

“Edyn Rodriguez was in his driveway when he heard cries from across the street, so he got a friend and they discovered someone stuck in their neighbor’s chimney.”

Police pulled soot-covered 17-year-old Ranaldo Jack out of the chimney with a rope after he allegedly robbed Tsehainesh Kidane.

According to WGCL, Kidane had no idea the St. Nick wannabe was stuck in her chimney for 10 hours and came home to a complete disaster.

“The accused thief threw clothes on the ground and stole $500 dollars out of her safe, but left her jewelry behind.” FLASH “The most baffling part for many is how and why Jack would try to shimmy down the chimney and then back up again. The most baffling part for most people is how and why Jack would try and shimmy down the chimney and then back up again."

WAGA spoke with the neighbor who discovered Jack wedged in the chimney-- and says the imitation Kris Kringle had few words to say.

Neighbor: “I said, what are you doing here? He said, stupid me. All he said was stupid.
Reporter: “He said he was stupid?”
Neighbor: “Yeah, he said he was stupid.
FLASH
Homeowner:I’m glad he was stuck.”
Reporter: “You’re glad he was stuck?”
Neighbor: “Because he won’t do this to other people.”

WLWT jokes--saying police greeted Jack with handcuffs and a lump of coal.

He was not injured and is charged with burglary and giving false information to officers.
