Some say Lindsay Lohan’s 17-year-old little sister looks a little different these days. So, plastic surgery or puberty? You decide.
Here’s Ali Lohan before...
And here she is after...
Higher cheek bones, a refined nose, larger lips, and even a thinner frame... published pictures--like this one taken by the paparazzi--started talk of plastic surgery.
Entertainment junkies have been busy trying to answer the burning question--did she, or didn’t she? According to E! News, she didn’t. Those close to the starlet came to her defense.
“Lindsay Lohan tells us exclusively-- ‘She has never.’ And the director of her modeling agency is speaking out too, also saying Ali hasn’t gone under the knife. ‘Aliana is a beautiful 17-year-old girls who is growing into her face and body, as is the norm for someone of her age.’”
But the new question: Is this really the norm for someone her age? Is it biologically possible for such a radical change to happen naturally? Diana Trepkov, a forensic artist who creates age-progression sketches of young adults and children says--it’s possible.
"‘As a girl maturing into adulthood, [a] face will change dramatically,’ … As for the understructure of the human skull, Trepkov said that comes to the fore at about Ali Lohan's age.
‘The baby fat usually has disappeared, and a young adult face appears.’”
After seeing the photos, a Hollywood Hills doctor just doesn’t buy the puberty argument. She tells Fox News--Ali lives in LA. What do you expect?
“Younger women in L.A. happen grow up faster given their social surroundings and are exposed to more than the average person. Los Angeles is home to some of the most beautiful people in the world and the need to look more beautiful than the woman next to you is much greater … Los Angeles is the Mecca of plastic surgery so the young women there tend to be drawn to their perception of perfection.”
And there’s another common thing celebs are exposed to in Hollywood--dealing with media coverage. A blogger for The Frisky says Ali’s transformation could be a result of mental health issues ... and thinks the media should take it easy on her.
“I think that’s why the cavalier headlines and comments about her ‘new face’ bother me; the chance that it could be health-related seems too great to me.”
But according to a Zap2It blog--Ali’s modeling agency believes any publicity is good publicity.
“Now the agency, clearly trying to keep this particular press bonanza rolling, has released the minor's measurements and dress size. [A] Next Models agenttellsLife & Style[,] ‘She's a 33-24-34, which is a size 1 or 2. … The baby fat is gone. She's 17 and is really coming into her look.’”
