I wish all you liberals would get you head out of where you sit.Sarah Palin is an honest, intelligent and articulate person. Its more than I can say for all thosr Democrats now holding office who are all corrupt. I sincerely hope she runs for Senator for alaska next year and possible President in 2012 or 2016. You people just can't stand and honest person who tells it like it is. You all want crooks, theives and the loke to rin this country. WAKE UP IDIOTS

Sarah is queen! We all want to be like her!
Yes! The attacks are beyond acceptance, rude and non-stopping!
i wish all American women were like Sarah Palin, then this country would be strong once again.

All women who watch oprah are useless creatures and should never point a finger against a woman such as Sarah Palin.

The news and legal culture have obviously broken her. Shame on America. What makes it any different then any other communist country, now, when you try to run against the 'bad guy' and you are trampled on by his thugs.

Amen

She is a quiter. Certainly a great disappointment to women who would have liked to see a woman in high office. She is a total disaster, unable to deal with criticism, whinning and complaining about the media. Everytime she blows it, she blames it on the media. She babbles, and rambles and in the end says nothing of substance. She has been referred to as being a charismatic leader. That is a laugh. She uses a few cute phrases, and tries to be one of the boys. Her sports analogies are totally inappropiate, and reveal a mind incapable of deep analytical thinking. Alaska should be grateful she has resigned. She has put her own self interests above those of the constiuancy she was elected to serve. When the going got tough, she just quit.

I believe Sarah Palin will become most effective in calling out the President and his cabinet out on issues that are not in the best interest for our country and it's citizens. She will be able to talk straight without having to worry about the state of Alaska suffering from our government and retributions. She can now state her views ande beliefs as she desires without regard of reprisals. I do not believe she is going to crawl off and hide from the evil, mean spirited media attacts. She will give as good as she receives without worry of her Alaskan friends and all the people she governed.
Sarah, I support you and believe the future of our country will be better served having your voice heard for all of your conservative allies.

I see Sarah Palin as a bundle of misguided ambition in a pair of pumps. She did it for press, she did it to cultivate her " Maverick" image, she did it for any number of self-serving reasons. Unfortunately, she didn't do it for the one legitimate reason -- that she is wholly unqualified to hold public office.

That was pretty hypocritical of Palin in the Wonkette blog. How can she tell Hilary to "plow through it" and then quit shortly after. All of the negative media is unfortunate, but you should finish what you start

I'm inclined to say it was a good move. If you can't take the heat, get out of the oven. I saw masked anger there. She can't reform the Republican party and she probably can't do much in politics after this. She may be able to make money speaking to her fans. But I think without knowing her motives or plans it's too early to pass final judgment. But I don't consider her a symbol for women. You still have Clinton, not to mention a number of other women politicians who don't get as much limelight (Barbara Boxer, for instance).

I don't see her getting a better job, considering she was under qualified for her current position. If you cannot handle the media, then you should step down. Palin has brought most of this on her self. She is not well-spoken, and she gives off the impression of being a bit slow.

I think that while the media may have been harsh on Palin, the criticism is not unwarranted. For public officials, statements made are an essential part of the profession. They should be held responsible for what they say. Palin herself said that fair or unfair, you have to plow through the criticism if you plan to be a candidate. Maybe she should have taken her own advice.

I hope she doesn't stay out of the limelight for too long... I want to see more Tina Fey on Saturday Night Live. Also did you see Sarah Palin's recent pictures in Running magazine (or was it walking, I cant remember) she might just be starting up a modeling career... a good career choice if you ask me... less stress and she might have the proper intelligence for that position.

Palin's criticism of Clinton now is laughable. We'll see what Palin plans to do for the "good of Alaska" next. Maybe the media was hard on her but I think Liz Trotta was correct in saying most of it was deserved in terms of how she acted while in office and her lack of political experience.

There's a large population of people who believe Palin stepped down to devote her time helping rebuild the Republican party. It's unfair to deem her as stepping down because of media pressure at this point. Maybe she wants to protect her children from the jokes and criticism.
