A 4.4-magnitude earthquake shook the Los Angeles area early Monday morning.

The quake, which was initially rated at 4.7, struck just west of the city at 6:25 a.m. Pacific time. (Via Google Maps)

The Los Angeles Times reports as of 6:52 a.m., there were no reports of quake-related injuries or damage.

But trust us, the epicenter was about six miles from this office, and you could feel this thing. Just look what happened on KCBS.

"Whoa. Whoa. Big earthquake right now. A really strong shaker right now."

Meanwhile, KTLA's anchors took action.

"Earthquake. We're having an earthquake!"

To be fair, this was reportedly the largest earthquake to strike near LA in years. Even the stars felt it. (Via KNBC)

Kim and Kourtney Kardashian had an interview with WTTG following the shake.

"Did you guys feel the earthquake just now?"

"We did. We were in an interview before. It was a little scary."

The shake was quick though, only lasting a few seconds. The lasting aftershock is being felt online.

Both "Los Angeles" and "earthquake" were trending at the time of this report. And because it's St. Patrick's Day, some are dubbing it the "Shamrock Shake." Nice, guys. (Via Twitter / @ABC7Marc)
