When police officers arrived around 4:00am, KTVT reports they found the mother and daughter covered in blood.

According to The Dallas Morning News, Toshia Edmonson remains in serious, but stable condition at a Dallas hospital.

Police have not released the name of the girl because she is a minor. She’s been charged with family violence and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and is being held at a juvenile detention center.
