Illinois Governor Rob Blagojevich says he's eager to give his side of the story as early as tomorrow. He talked to Chicago's WGN and other reporters Wednesday. This comes as the Illinois Supreme Court rejects an attempt to declare Blagojevich unfit to hold the office of governor.
President-elect Barack Obama's team is expected to release a report about his team's contacts with Blagojevich next week. Newsweek's Howard Fineman wonders about the timing of the release.

Newsweek's Howard Fineman writes: "Political pros know that the best time of the year in which to bury a scandal is Christmas week. People are busy. Reporters are on vacation. Almost no one is watching the news."
WGN Chicago
Governor Rod Blagojevich told reporters: "There's a time and place for everything. That day will soon be here and you might know more about that today, maybe no later than tomorrow."
