"I move that the convention suspend the procedural rules. I move that all votes, all votes cast by delegates be reflected in the official record, and I move that Hillary Clinton be selected as the nominee of the Democratic Party of the United States," Sen. Bernie Sanders said.

After all the roll call votes were cast during Day Two of the Democratic National Convention, Sen. Bernie Sanders officially bowed out.

It was a move many expected and one his former rival once made herself.

"I move Sen. Barack Obama from Illinois be selected by this convention by acclamation as the nominee of the Democratic Party for president of the United States," Hillary Clinton said.

After Sanders' brief speech, Clinton tweeted a video of it with the words "Stronger together."
