Now in its second season, "Full Frontal With Samantha Bee" went back to an early favorite and re-created the segment "Samantha Bee's Black History Minute" for Black History Month.

The original segment was all about how during this month, people tend to idealize civil rights leaders from the past often while admonishing the black leaders and organizers of today.

This year, they sent out one of the show's writers, Ashley Nicole Black, to interview five civil rights leaders from the '60s: Nell Braxton Gibson, Frank Smith Jr., Joan Trumpauer Mulholland, Luvaghn Brown and Dorie Ladner. The conversation gave insight into the perseverance and patience with mundane tasks it took to see this movement through.
