In a shock to pretty much everyone, the U.S. men's curling team won gold at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
Team USA beat Sweden 10-7 on Saturday. This is the first time the U.S. has won gold in the event.
Outlets report the win is particularly surprising because Team USA had been on the verge of elimination multiple times throughout the tournament.
This is the ninth gold overall for Team USA so far at the Winter Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
