A "Saturday Night Live" writer has been suspended indefinitely after a widely criticized tweet about Barron Trump, President Donald Trump's 10-year-old son.

Katie Rich tweeted during the inauguration ceremony, "Barron will be this country's first homeschool shooter." The post was taken down shortly after, and her account was deactivated.

The tweet drew heavy criticism, including from Chelsea Clinton.

Rich had been with SNL since 2013. Her name did not appear in the credits of the show's broadcast the day after the inauguration.
