Gabrielle WareRobert Durst, real estate heir and subject of the 2015 HBO documentary "The Jinx," will have to stand trial for the murder of his longtime friend Susan Berman in 2000.
Thursday, a judge ruled there was enough evidence to proceed with a case against Durst. Prosecutors claim the 75-year-old millionaire shot Berman in her home over information she may have known about his missing first wife.
Berman admitted to helping Durst fabricate an alibi for his wife's presumed death, according to the Los Angeles District Attorney's office.
Durst denies killing his first wife and Berman. He's expected to be arraigned in November.
