Chicago Tribune
The Chicago Tribune follows Obama’s efforts to take his economic stimulus plan to Peoria Illinois on Thursday.
“Originally, aides had insisted that Obama's time would be better spent remaining in Washington to shepherd the stimulus bill, rather than taking the more traditional route of traveling the country to pressure lawmakers,” the Tribune reports. “But as difficulties with the legislation increased, trips have been added to Obama's schedule.”

FRANCE 24
France24 focuses on how Obama’s second trip on the campaign trail seeks to present an answer to that question.
Political advisor David Axelrod paints him as a spokesman for the daily hardships of everyday Americans, France24 reports.
"One thing that we learned over two years ... is that there’s a whole different conversation in Washington than there is out here," Axelrod said aboard Air Force One.

The Indianapolis Star
The Indianapolis Star zeroes in on audience reaction to the loss of recreational vehicle and manufacturing jobs in the Elkhart, Indiana area. Citizens listened critically to Obama’s speech, for solutions.
"We want to work," said 62-year-old Ed Neufeldt, the out-of-work RV worker who introduced Obama.
Another man shouts out: "What are we going to do about it?

The Washington Post
The Washington Post begins in Elkhart Indiana where Obama delivers a speech to the 1,700 townspeople that gathered in a high school gym. Their coverage focuses on Pres. Obama talking about the severity of the current economic situation.
"We can't afford to wait. We can't wait and see and hope for the best. We can't posture and bicker and resort to the same failed ideas that got us into this mess in the first place.”
