The New England Patriots have done it again. They knocked off the Atlanta Falcons 34 to 28 to win Super Bowl LI.

Heading into halftime with a 21-3 deficit, the Patriots stormed back in the fourth quarter to win the game in the first overtime finish in Super Bowl history.

It's another Lombardi Trophy for Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. They are now 5-2 in Super Bowls over their partnership — something that is starting to run out of historical comparisons.

It also puts a bookend on the Deflategate scandal. Remember, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell suspended Brady for the first four games of this season for playing with deflated footballs in a playoff game.

But after the Patriots' big win, Goodell had to hand the Lombardi Trophy to Brady — something many Patriots fans looked forward to all season long.
