A federal judge said it's okay for construction to begin on part of President Donald Trump's so-called border wall in California.
U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel said the Trump administration did not violate the Constitution when it waived environmental laws to speed up the process.
Curiel notably also presided over a lawsuit against Trump University. Trump alleged Curiel was biased against him because the judge is of Mexican descent.
Trump also said: "I have a judge who is a hater of Donald Trump, a hater. He's a hater."
Congress still needs to provide funding for the project in order for it to begin.
