Corey Lewandowski's Latest Job: Pundit For Conservative Cable News

Corey Lewandowski, President-elect Donald Trump's one-time campaign manager, has landed another new media gig.

"I think the nation's excited, honestly. What you have here is a person who's going to come to Washington with no prenotion of what should or shouldn't be done," Lewandowski said.

Lewandowski has joined the conservative cable news channel One America News Network as a political commentator.

One America News Network is relatively small for a national cable news channel, but has hosted some prominent conservative commentators, like Sarah Palin and Tomi Lahren.

Lewandowski's first media gig was at CNN where he served as a political commentator after leaving the Trump campaign in June. Despite his new role, Lewandowski continued to receive payments from the Trump campaign through September.

Robert Herring, the CEO of One America News Network, told The Daily Beast: "We got a lot of help from [Lewandowski] in the past, and he seems like very nice guy and very knowledgeable. ... You know, we're a growing network, and we saw a chance when he quit CNN and we just grabbed it."

One America News Network was available in 15 million homes in 2016. In 2015, Nielsen estimated CNN reached over 97 million homes.

Lewandowski left the network shortly after Trump's victory, with plans to leverage his access to the president-elect by opening a political consulting firm in D.C. Presumably, his new TV job is in addition to those plans.

He told Politico in December, "If I can be a resource to corporations who want to get a fast answer from the government and not a long maybe, I think that's a value add that I can potentially provide. ... The goal isn't to go and become a swamp creature or to become a lobbyist. I'm not going to be a lobbyist."
