AUSTRALIAN WILDFIRE ARSON SUSPECT NAMED

Australian authorities have named a suspect accused of igniting one of the country’s deadliest wildfires that has claimed the lives of at least 189 people.
The Australian
Brendan Sokaluk was charged with arson causing death and with lighting a brushfire. The former volunteer firefighter could face up to 25 years in prison for the arson charge and 15 years for setting the fire. A child pornography possession charge carries a 5-year sentence.
