People Are Angry This Beachgoer Pulled A Shark Out Of The Ocean For Pictures

It’s been a bad month for handsy tourists and the animals they take pictures with. Reporter Ashleigh Walters from Newsy’s at partners WPTV captured this footage in Palm Beach, Florida. It shows a beachgoer pulling a shark out of the water for a photo op.

Walters posted the video on her Facebook page, saying in the caption that after the shark was pushed back into the water, it took several minutes for it to resurface. Several commenters on Facebook voiced their anger.

Last week, tourists on a beach near Buenos Aires, Argentina, plucked a baby dolphin out of the water and passed it around for selfies. It later died of dehydration.
