'Aliens' Fans Could Literally Step Into Ripley's Shoes With Reebok's Alien Stompers

There's a scene in the director's cut of 1986 film "Aliens" where Ellen Ripley, played by Sigourney Weaver, takes on a Xenomorph queen (the Alien) to save "Newt." Ripley straps up her Reebok Alien Stompers, hops in an exosuit then says to the Alien, "Get away from her, you bitch!"

Pretty badass, right?

Well, that scene doesn't exactly exist — specifically the Reebok Alien Stompers part — but fans of the Alien franchise might soon have a chance to literally step into Ripley's shoes for the 30th anniversary of "Aliens."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, 20th Century Fox has declared April 26 Alien Day — a tie-in to planet LV-426 from the movie — and will drop the otherworldly high-top Reebok Alien Stompers. The shoes will reportedly be available on Reebok.com and in select Reebok stores worldwide.  

It's hard to pin down exactly where this news is coming from, seeing as there are no official announcements across platforms for Reebok or 20th Century Fox. But if it's true, expect "Aliens" fans to rock their newly acquired Stompers en masse.
