Monica Lewinsky Humorously Tweets About 'Lemonade'

April 25, 2016

You’ve probably heard the buzz by now: Beyoncé dropped her visual album, "Lemonade," on Saturday night.

Rumors are now circling around Beyoncé and Jay Z’s relationship, and the Beyhive attacked Jay Z's alleged mistress — fashion designer Rachel Roy — on social media.

And then Monica Lewinsky tweeted about her own "Lemonade" concerns.

The tweet is a reference to Beyoncé’s 2013 song "Partition," in which the singer says, "He Monica Lewinsky-ed all on my gown."

During a 2014 Vanity Fair interview, Lewinsky had a rather tongue-in-cheek correction she said she wanted to make to that word choice:

“Thanks, Beyoncé, but if we’re verbing, I think you meant ‘Bill Clinton’d all on my gown,’ not ‘Monica Lewinsky’d.’”

And for the record, it's probably safe to listen to the album as long as your name isn't Becky.
