Tributes To Kobe Bryant: 'NBA 2K,' The Staples Center, Nike And More Honor 'The Black Mamba'

By: Matt Moreno | April 13, 2016

Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant will play his final game Wednesday night.

The five-time NBA champion, 18-time NBA All-Star and 2008 NBA MVP ends his 20-year career against the Utah Jazz at the Staples Center.

In honor of his retirement, 2K Sports dropped "NBA 2K17 Legend Edition" with Kobe, aka "The Black Mamba," on the cover.

Apple is also cashing in on Kobe-mania with this Apple TV ad:

And it looks like ESPN is giving him a nice little retirement card, signed by everyone in the office:

Even the Staples Center floors will be paying homage to the Lakers great.

Oklahoma Thunder’s Kevin Durant (like many players) definitely has some mixed emotions on Bryant’s retirement.

He's a rival to many, but there’s clearly mad respect on #mambaday.

Bryant's final game begins 7:30 p.m. Pacific time.
