Actress Kerry Washington Falls Victim To Photoshop Once Again

April 6, 2016

Kerry Washington excitedly teased her AdWeek cover story on Twitter, but she wasn’t as giddy about her drastically edited images.

The "Scandal" star criticized the cover photo and said: "It felt strange to look at a picture of myself that is so different from what I look like when I look in the mirror. It's an unfortunate feeling."

AdWeek’s editorial director claimed the publication only made "minimal adjustments" for "dramatic effect."

“Minimal adjustments” may be a stretch, though, when this is what the actress actually looks like on the red carpet.

Unfortunately, Washington isn't the first star to address the how PhotoShop can be misused — not by a long shot.

Actress Jennifer Lawrence also voiced her concern with multiple edited magazine covers when she said, "That doesn’t look like me at all."

As Queen Bey might say, these stars don't need PhotoShop to look flawless.
