I am a fan as well and they dug themselves in deeper by being condescending because she ALSO starred in twelve movies. There is no excuse I am a Michael Jackson fan but if he was included then she should have been I am still watching her movie with Chevy Chase. She is listed and neither am NOT buying this exclusion. And the soundbite about from someone saying "I'm happy if my kids remember me they shouldn't get upset over a hollywood montage."
Then why do a montage at all? Its not about upset its about being tacky and not honoring a woman who ALSO died of a disease that strikes us all "CANCER" numbnut. View

The blatant and obvious exclusion of Farrah Fawcett from the Academy Award's tribute section was a real disappointment to me. It has definitely taken some of the shine and shimmer off of my feelings toward Hollywood and the Academy. Their excuses are lame and ridiculous. Farrah was an icon of beauty and strength that many of us grew up with. Her courage at the end was inspirational and the fact that the Academy didn't include her reeks of some sort of backroom politics. They should be ashamed of themselves and I for one won't watch any more of their Academy shows. The members should be outraged and insist that this is made right! View

It doesnt matter if the Acadamy intended on leaving Farrah out of the tribute or forgot..either way it was rude and dissrespectfull of and actress that has been an ICON for years in American TV and film history. The Acadamy says she was more of a televison actress but Farrah made many movies...people just choose to remember her for Charlies Angels. She made Extremities, The Burning Bed, The Apostle, Myra Breckenridge, Logans Run, Man of the House, Dr T and the women and more!!! How many movies must she have made to be considered an actress worthy of Film credit and history? Oh..maybe if she had been in "The Wiz" with Michael Jackson that would have done it!!! What the Acadamy has done is inexcusable.....if you wonder why people are getting so upset about this..its because People loved her...she was a part of our lives we loved and to have lost her to cancer hurt and then to not have her honored and to see Michael Jackson up there where she should have been is like a slap in the face...not only to her but to all of us Americans..that grew up with her and have great memories of our youth treated like dirt by The Acadamy. It leaves me feeling like i dont respect The Acadamy...their choices and the award show anymore...if they could be this stupid then why should i buy into anything else they do?...now the awards dont seem as important anymore. As an African American hearing him be this offensive is no surprise it was his usual macho worthless diatribe but also racist...eg what is she going to play the football player in Blindside what the hell is that suppose to mean.
He needs to stick to his lap dancing stripper Lsilicon boobies porno ho's that's what he's known for. He is an idiot and needs to take a look in the mirror. I have a few descriptives for him. He can backstroke all he wants but he is not saying what I'm thinking.
But its the "delivery" that turned me off. She's not his white blue eyed blond chick coming in his studio taking off her panties. He's a racist dog. That's what a lot of us are thinking. View

We have to be aware of these threats against the Us. They come from Very disturbed people. We have lowered our security customs and let. To many people come in unchecked and a serious threat to our safety. We have to have stricter control of our borders Back ground checks etc is a must. We have to cllose our borders now. View
ABC hasn't been paying attention. There shouldn't be "new" concern about female terrorists because they aren't a new phenomenon. For that matter, there shouldn't be "new" concern about domestic terrorism, seeing as the first terrorist in recorded history (John Brown) was employed (literally paid) to incite terror in the US during the Civil War by murdering innocents in their own homes. Terror isn't regional - it's ideological. View

Liz Cheney is a good US citizen. She loves America and is a patriot. Both her and her father Dick Cheney have served our country well. They both deserve a great deal of credit for speaking up for what's the right things to do in government. I say thank you for caring about keeping our country free. God Bless you both and America. Yes I do believe the Democrats forced him out. He stood up for what he believed in and they couldn't take it. He has been in office 30 years and is I'll. He's done his term and then some. Leave him alone. Let some one else fight the corruption that's going on. Some one will clean up this government and it won't be long in coming. Even the dems have had enough of all this rubbish. They won't put up with much more. It's to. Dispicable and out of touch with all America is about. God help America. Give us back our great country. View
I think that the US is doing the right thing in renewing the talks. At least the new administration can bring some sort of different spin on an old topic. This being said, I am skeptical to how much can actually be done about the situation. View
I agree with you for the most part, but I also think Israel and Palestine kind of need to "grow up" and start handling things without outside involvement. This conflict has gone on for so long, I wonder if some people are just tired of it. There are so many issues that President Obama isn't going to be able to fix, no matter how involved he might get. It seems like the only thing holding real success is the question of who will possess Jerusalem, and unless Obama can come up with a solution regarding that, we might end up back at square one. But I do think he needs to get involved, because he is the President and we are Israel's ally. It indirectly affects us, too, and Obama needs to show how important it is to him and his administration. View
