World war 3 was fought - and, as of now, it's over. The winner? China. And, they never fired a shot. This was an economic war, and, China has had one thing on their mind: global domination - financially. all of this, mot preface, that, for anyone to think the Chinese play 'fair,' is sorely mistaken. They do not. Since this idiocy of 'outsourcing' to China began, we've given them carte Blanche over much high-end technology - stuff that heretofore would've NEVER been given. This lawsuit is another example of how preposterous they are, trying to act as if somehow, they've been wronged. Guess which country owns most of the US's debt...? China. F 'em.  View

Amazon created one of the most successful and innovative business models of all time... centered around no brick-and-motar stores. I hope they know what they are doing because this sounds like a horrible idea... If they want consumers to be able to interface with their technology (the kindle), then maybe they should explore it being available through retailers such as Best Buy.  View

This sounds awesome. I really hope that SpaceX can keep developing this technology.  View

I couldnt care less about this,,This is a simple diversion! They are still ignoring RON PAUL,,,RON PAUL has the most logical point of view on almost every issue ,,Most of the illuminati controlled Media are going along for the freaking ride,,RON PAUL,,wants to bring your love ones from all this useless Oil-motivated wars,,,wants your rights restored base on the constitution,,he wants a smaller govt,,,less intervention to peoples lives,,create more jobs,,revive the economy,,and stop unnecessary govt, spending,,and i think the most that they are scared of is that RON PAUL want to get rid of the Federal Reserved,,,which is actually a private institution run and owned by the riches of the super rich,,the most powerfull of the most powerfull,,all that the Federal Reserve does is print out paper dollars when the US govt, needs money,,in exchange the US govt prints out Govt bonds on fancy paper and gives them to the Fed Reserved,,,like an IOU note,,the US Govt pays interest borrowing from the Federal Reserve,,,borrowed money that was created out of thin air,,!! Of course w/ todays technology not that entire amount is printed on paper and some are just on computers,,,This if you will think about it is no more like loan sharking in a humongous scale ,,Whoever owns and runs the Fed Reserve is more powerfull than anyone else in the US,,That they could manipulate the whole media!!!  View

I like your thought process as far as arguments go and the benefit of what you are stating as far as a tax write off may lower the hit of the loss but in my world of investments it would not provide the sale. the investor that is going for speculative technology that improves the world is not looking for less of a loss he is looking for the win. The mitigated risk of lowering his tax burden if he looses can ease the pain but is not going to motivate the savvy investor. --- this is one of the reasons it is more difficult to find investors in the EU. The taxes are higher and thus the culture has shifted to more towards saving... Please skim the link I posted. . As far as Warren buffet and doubling his income due to an increase in taxes it would actually be an exponential increase and allow for double dipping on his previous clients to move them into new tax shelters. The benefit far FAR FAR outweighs the downside. In reality he is a political genius. good discussion  View

Personally, from an outside view, if the americans really wanted to avoid this situation they would lead suit, they're complete hypocrites saying one country can't have nuclear weapons when they're on they're all fours sitting back on the exact technology, they need wars to keep the money moving, its despiteful and embarrassing, the american people should call for real change, just not another figure head who bails on promises. I'm sick of seeing this s***. American leaders will be the death of us all, figure it out...  View

I respect ford on two things, the didnt take government money and they have successfully caught up in technology. However, having a reliable, sexy and safe car is still number one for me. I couldnt see my self driving American in the near future.  View

If audiences continue to act like sheep, then Hollywood will continue to treat you like sheep. Trailers are simply a marketing tool that can manipulate the entire plot of a film to make it appear interesting. In this age of technology with information at our fingertips, there is no excuse for not researching a movie before you pay money to watch it. Stop listening to one word review snippets taken out of context.  View

All of you who still cannot accept global warming as a devestating, and quite real phenomena, are not doing your proverbial HW! The studies out there by an astounding ratio of studies that say warming is real compared to those that deny its (Global Warming) existence, is a ratio of, ballpark: 100:1! Now Bees are extremely, as per one reason and cause of bees decline, extremely subjected to the ravages of global warming. Put together bees declining because of GW, and yet another powerful and a half reason to get off petro, coal and yes, nuclear energy too. If we take one trillion dollars to convert America from the polluting energies, to mostly solar, what with silicone being in vast abundance (Just look into sand at your favorite beaches- The white particles are: Silicone! We do have the technology, and yes, I know for a solid fact, as I taught in a middle school run only on solar energy in Atlanta, and this in the 1980's, and a triple story building home to a whopping 5000 students and teachers. The money came from a federal grant under President Reagan no less, and, in just five short years, not only was the grant repaid, best of all, the school starting making profit! As per Reagan's desire of course to see that public governmental institutions could somehow pay their own way! Well, here is a political solution to make politicians from the Rand Paul's to the Obamas to the every blessed political stripe happy, except of course for the bankers. Vote for laws like the Glass Segall Law again: We must regulate banks so called too big to fail, for in the end, they are making, "We the People" fall mighty hard down in dire straits. Regulate the banks: Turn them ALL into Credit Unions! No more derivatives, ever!!  View
