I dont think it compared to the miracle on ice team, me and my wife watched the game in Vancouver,BC and while it was awesome that the USA beat Canada specially since they had signs making lite of the miracle on ice team- The Hockey Gods have spoken Canada! Dont make fun of the Miracle on ice team! If there is going to be another Miracle on ice team it will not be the USA, Canada, Germany or Russia, it will be a team like Norway or Latvia since we now have a bunch of NHL'ers in the Olympics.  View

There's so much politics behind this it's ridiculous. Interestingly, Russia seems to be reacting rather similarly (politically, if not militarily) to how the US reacted when Iran insisted its own weapons developments were intended for peace-keeping.  View

This very well could be a cover for justifying a "Star Wars" technology for Russia. Space war technology for leading the domination of our near space.  View

I'm curious about two things. First, if this asteroid is indeed traveling at 50 times the speed of light, how did we discover it in the first place? Our satellites must be more advanced than I thought. Second, how do we, as humans that think traveling at Mach 3 is a big accomplishment, intend to aim and actually hit something going that fast? I'll be anxious to hear what Russia comes up with.  View

We must not laugh, because the possibility is there and anything can happen to increase the odds of a direct hit. I am grateful that someone is minding the skys because our own history proves that this is a common occurance for mother earth. Better to be in front of the ball than behind it.... Thank you Russia for being watchful. ill most likely be dead but my children will still be here.... better safe than sorry  View

the idea of manipulating other countries in the ME in a manner that favors the U.S. is another tactic that hasn't worked for us in the past so I hope the Russia Today guy is a conspiracy theorist.  View

I agree with the Russia Today commentary in terms of content but not tone. It is inherently against the best interest of a sovereign nation to submit to global treaties, rom a realist perspective any global action is against the best interest of every individual nation involved.  View

I think he handled this very well. Russia Today should focus on the committee and not Obama accepting it. If he rejected it many would be just as angry so he really is in a lose-lose situation.  View

By announcing when Obama will pull out, it seems the war is over before its been fought. You can't please everyone, and that's what Obama is trying to do here. I think the last source from Russia Today was most convincing.  View
