This can't have been the first time this issue has risen within the U.S. judicial system. I agree with the initiative that minors have greater chance to reform their lifestyle and should reside in correctional facilities rather than spend a lifetime in jail wasting their own lives, as well as the state's resources. Healthcare reform never should have focused on the insurance side of things. It should have focused on the ridiculous prices for medication, doctors, hospitals, and the rampant fraud that plagues the medical industry. But of course that would be treating the root of the problem, which goes against what our medical practitioners do on a daily basis.
