I agree with Philip. Sadly, most Americans have no clue about their own history as a nation, and certainly no clue as to their personal lineage. And BEFORE the torrent of jingoism begins, let me remind us all: EVERYONE here in North America is and was or are children of an immigrant. Even the native people walked here from somewhere else. In fact, since the Europeans who first came here largely ignored local laws for tribal assimilation, those same Europeans were the FIRST ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS! Element, The birth certificate issue is done. STICK A FORK IN IT! The president provided 2 different state issued birth certificates (both long and short form) and has proven, without a doubt, that he was born in the US. Along with that is a news paper announcement from a Hawaii newspaper announcing the birth. These are FACTS and is all that is needed. The only people keeping this issue going are the small minded, bigoted idiots that don't want a black president. Donald Trump is an idiot and just like corporations, has not business getting involved in politics. This is the same guy who brings you Fox News channel which doesn't do real reporting and engages in politics for the Republican party. Trump wont run for president. He doesn't need the job and frankly he is too brash for the office. Furthermore, no one believes the increasingly irrelevant Seinfeld would have voted for him anyway. This story is a classic example of how mean, nasty and vindictive liberals really are. They will sacrifice a charity event to avoid being in the same room with a conservative because, heaven forbid, some one might think it is a political endorsement. How spineless! While I'm not exactly a fan of politics, be it through Fox News or CNN, I'll surely be tuned into the Super Bowl on February 6. I definitely wouldn't say the match-up between Bill O'Reilly and Barack Obama will be anything in comparison to the football game later that evening, but I'm sure it'll be more entertaining than watching either Fox or CNN any other day of the week.  View
