this seems like a nuclear option. it seems like there are other ways the board could restructure the system, cutting programs, staff, or even altering the school schedule to trim fat. i'm no administrator but it's hard to fathom this being the only workable option. View

At the early planning and building stages of South Texas Nuclear Project, I thought Austin was getting a bad deal and we should bail out on our share. It took quite a few years for me to agree STNP was a true asset for Austin energy users. View

Nuclear energy has come a long way since Three Mile Island. The majority of France and Belgium's energy comes from nuclear power. At this point, it's the most viable solution for an alternative energy source, as wind, solar, geo-thermal, etc. haven't made enough strides to support the demand. And as far as the waste nuclear creates...there's always space! View

The French government should most certainly compensate soldiers that they knowingly exposed to nuclear radiation. I don't understand why they thought they could get away with such exposure. It doesn't matter if radiation was minimal; radiation is radiation, and I fail to see how a nuclear blast could have "minimal" radiation. View
I like the idea of another stimulus package that focuses on creating jobs. We should uild hundreds of nuclear plants, giant solar panels, smart grids, and hover craft plants. That way we are creating jobs, making the U.S. more energy efficient, and flying around in hover crafts. View
Job creation will be a short-term benefit, sure. The long-term focus should have been on nuclear power, but anything is better than off-shore drilling and blasting mountain tops. View

What scares me is that they are a nuclear power and the amount of anti-Pakastan government militia that control the tribal regions of the north in recent years and months have slowly but surely getting closer and closer to the souh and the capitol! I pray that the U.S. have a plan in place to make certain that these Taliban View
If infiltrators have gained access to the teams guarding the nuclear bombs of Afghanistan they are sure to set them off. Thousands will die if they do. US special forces should immediately disable them. There is no time to wait. View
