I like the idea of another stimulus package that focuses on creating jobs. We should uild hundreds of nuclear plants, giant solar panels, smart grids, and hover craft plants. That way we are creating jobs, making the U.S. more energy efficient, and flying around in hover crafts. View
Job creation will be a short-term benefit, sure. The long-term focus should have been on nuclear power, but anything is better than off-shore drilling and blasting mountain tops. View
If infiltrators have gained access to the teams guarding the nuclear bombs of Afghanistan they are sure to set them off. Thousands will die if they do. US special forces should immediately disable them. There is no time to wait. View

What scares me is that they are a nuclear power and the amount of anti-Pakastan government militia that control the tribal regions of the north in recent years and months have slowly but surely getting closer and closer to the souh and the capitol! I pray that the U.S. have a plan in place to make certain that these Taliban View

Yo it's crazy! Every one knows Iran has nuclear capabilities. And that it's main mission in life is to blow israel off the face of the earrh. It may be Israel's only defense to strike first. They r delaying larger sanctions. And the UN is getting on my frigging nerves...acting all clueless someone needs to invade Iran and make those Shiite Muslims disappear before they do something really stupid like start WWIII View
Nuclear Energy FTW - we have plenty of supplies already!

It's a diplomatic move because we're reducing our massive arsenal of weapons of mass destruction. View
Uh-Oh now they are testing long range missiles. Great. I wanted to believe him in the interview with Ann Curry, when he said he was only enriching uranium and that he had no need for nuclear weapons, but I couldn't. He's a very deceptive man. View

Well, it looks like this is another sell out of American support of one of the USs few allies. I am surprise that Israel hasn't already struck Iran's nuclear facilities. God help the United States if our annointed one(president Obama)should pull the rug out from Israel. View
curbing nuclear proliferation isn't necessarily about creating a nuke free world, as great as that would be I think it is safe to say that isn't going to happen anytime soon. It is about reducing the number of these weapons to keep them off the black market. Creating big bad weapons makes us feel safe but international power and influence is zero sum, so it just gives other nations an imperative to escalate for their own safety. Reducing stockpiles is a good step. View
I thought Democracy Now hit the nail directly on the head. The anti-nuclear movement is one of hypocrisy. In an ideal world, yes, we would want fewer tools to blow ourselves up with. But as long as countries put their own interests first (which only makes sense), they will demand sufficient resources to protect themselves with (and maybe a little extra). View
