First of all, I am not racist against ANY race; I respect African-Americans, Asian-Americans, Hispanic-Americans, and of course, even Caucasians. To let you know, I am married to a Caucasian and I love him and our mixed daughter to death. Second, I understand perfectly what you all trying to say about people coming here ILLEGALY, however, when you have tried to come here LEGALLY, with a visa, there's no way. Our CORRUPT countries will NEVER give us visas to get out and unfortunately, it's not that easy to go back to our countries and try to fix things. If it was that easy to go back and cooperate with the government then we wouldn't be here. Let me remind you all that I am legal so I have the same rights as you all to freedom of speech. I too can express my feelings and not care if I offend anybody. I wish there was a way that people come here legally but there isn't. The USA only accepts people who are well-educated and who are wealthy (they don't want anybody poor here because all this country is interested in is MONEY). We are not the only poor race and we are definitely not the only race infested with disease. Let me remind you that when Europeans came to this country, they brought with them all kinds of diseases that have stuck with the people up until now. If you're referring to the Swine Flu, any other country could have brought it as well. Besides, Americans have traveled to Mexico in this dire time and have brought back the disease with them. Why in the world would you go to a country that has a disease in it? Obviously they wanted to get infected. All countries have diseases and illnesses; cancers are everywhere and no one is safe from it. I'm not racist, as a matter of fact, I'm far from it. I'm defending what is mine as well and sorry but it's going to take more than what you all are writing.  View

The line is already there... We just need to build borders! Viva La Raça With many diseases, no educations, crime, and much more 3rd bad stuff. USA is not Mexico or any other poor nation... And now many places in the USA look like hell because of the Raça. We live in new era and no country in the world will accept any i-immigrants. Here in the US they are breaking Hospitals and Schools Systems. And now I see that many americans are upset with the economy and many indocumented aliens are taking their jobs. I feel sorry for America... Every year the US is becoming a 3rd world because of so many people with a lower education level. It's time to close the borders. And for those who help illigals you are destroying this nation in many ways.  View

Would be good to have one of those at home... Let's see if Mexican people can afford to have it once they get on Our country and they prefered to get their family sticked on the tv, instead feed em'...and even though it sonds Creasy, most Mexican people acts like that although our economy is going down, due to all the bills we gotta pay adding stupid percents on duties and taxes that we've already paid and if we got a job is good, but that much money ( like goverment says ) can even last one week to pay all the bills including our family and school...As my wife said one day: I'd rather not to have a tv, cell phone, brand new shoes or even an i pod like you but my family's happines and a job to help my sons growing up , cause I would like em' not to suffer what we've to give em' a better life for a good future... Only God knows what's next for us , there's nothing we can do to change things on Mexico's Critical Financial Situation... I think is gonna take a while for me to see that kind of tv on my living room... Good luck for those who can afford this TV.  View

The perspective change, for the indian or native people the situation is not very different today than it was five hundres years ago, you can hear this from a lot of places in Mexico and the rest of latinamerican countries, I think that there is too much explotation of those people.  View

I'm inclined to posit that it will create more problems. But I suppose with Mexico relaxing many of their restrictions, we'll be able to do a fairly direct compare-and-contrast in the coming months and years.  View

I don't see this being a permanent solution to our healthcare reform problem. There are people already pressuring the Obama administration to take care of illegal immigration before he tackles providing a public option for health coverage, so how would the theory that going to Mexico to find healthcare ever be an adequate solution. We need to stop outsourcing our problems. It is a huge risk; if for no other reason than the fact that there is not a consistent record kept for all doctor's visits and diagnoses; how can there be if a person is running in between a US doctor and a Mexican doctor.  View

I don't think England has to give them back. No doubt England stole the marbles and, sure, and "rightfully" they belong to Greece, but England should not be forced to give the Elgin Marbles back. We aren't going to give Texas back to Mexico ( and both are spoils of war). Now they are part of England history as well.  View

Yes, you have a lot of good points. But I have been doing swine flu, bird flu, and seasonal flu research for hours every night since this happened. And in my opinion I feel that the WHO is not doing enough warning to the public. If it comes back in the fall and winter as a SuperBug! Then the public could of taken precautions: like the ones they took in Mexico! The Mexican government is to be highly commended for their forsight into this horrible threat on humannity. I feel that the public now soon take health manners into their own hands and wear the masks and gloves and try to stop the growning tide of infections in this country. We are dying humans and it does manner if you are rich are you are poor cause if someone sneezes on you or coughs you are just as likely to get the flu. What really scares me is that young people are getting it faster and with harder cases than us baby bloomers. And that was the case in 1918. I have 2 teenages boys and thats what scares me that they could die. Why should they die in the richest and best health care in the country and they die of a treatable flu. What if the virus in the fall and winter resist the tamiaflu and other antibotbics. It will really be a Superbug by then. And does the government have enough of these meds for 300 millions Americans. And last but not least is: When are the drug companies going to have the right vaccine for this flu and what if the flu virus goes thru a couple of changes and then the vaccine doesn't do a thing?? And will there be enough vaccines to go around. I feel that each counties CDC should be setting up special flu treatment offices around the nation to deal with the problem NOW. For fear that by winter it will be too late and what will come of all our children!!!! God bless us all. Ps. 83:18. Thanks...  View

I am glad that the U.S. Center for Disease and Control says the best method is 'those who are sick, stay home'...that seems like the most obvious precaution. China's recent actions to quarantine Mexican-run businesses, etc. seems quite dramatic/almost more of a political statement. The danger is that this swine flu scare has huge economic repercussions. Southeast Asia, Mexico, Japan, and numerous other regions are either experiencing or preparing for such economic woe. It is vital that misinformation is not constantly spread--many more people will be affected by lack of business than directly by the flu itself.  View

I think it is important that people take precautions to protect themselves, though it does seem to be getting somewhat blown out of proportion. I think it is interesting too, that the cases that are being confirmed in many different states, do not necessarily mean that the person is currently in that state. They may still be in Mexico or Texas, but because they reside in another state, it becomes part of that state's statistic.  View
