Oh... I don't think I can say what I think of this tactic in a polite manner. It's so wrong it's just wrong. Appeal to one of the more ignorant, emotionally unstable, narcissistic, visible demographics (student-age people) and say, "Hey, you want the carrot? You're going to have to stick your head in this noose to get it." At least, that's my impression, being against the health reform bill as it stands (as I'm sure even original supporters of the bill are).  View

Failure in the law or someone trying to duck the system. Either way this man was motivated to harm. I wish someone had him reporting to a mental health professional or some thing. On a flippant note: is he going to get off because he's a "sex addict?"  View

With Stark's involvement in the health debacle, that does seem to make sense. I'm with Politico on this one. But I have never heard of a leave of absence in politics.  View

Obama ran on a promise of bi-partisanship, so I'm sure a part of this is for show. At the same time, I do think he's trying to get health care passed and that means working together.  View

Those on the Right have a plan that will fix our health care system. The mainstream media has not covered this! Obama's Plan is about "Control" The more we learn the worse it gets. The "Right" is not obstructing..we are trying to save all our skins!  View

Unfortunately, I think that the French government knew what they were doing to their soldiers. Therefore, I think they need to compensate these soldiers who are now having health problems and other side affects that they were unaware they were being put in danger of.  View

Out of curiosity, isn't the French government technically financially liable for the soldiers under their universal health care system? Isn't any compensation owed to the soldiers effectively paid out through medical expenses anyway?  View

As a Diabetic, a man with a government or a union job is much more appealing. Yes, I plan to have my own insurance when i'm done with school, but.... I can't afford 700 a month in premiums (that doesn't include co-pays) while on student loans. The student health coverage wouldn't come close to covering my insulin pump supplies... I'm just saying, she's not alone.  View
