Does the world really forget why the blockade went up in the first place? The 1.5 Million people in Gaza suffer because a small amount of fringe crazy Arabs that use distorted religious beliefs to insight violence against innocent people not only in Israel, but also putting their own people in danger (using hospitals and schools as "shields" to weapon storage and katusha rocket launch sites). Where does the millions of dollars of international aide that's sent to the West Bank and Gaza end up? Why are the groups that claim responsibility for governing those areas (Fatah and Hamas) not held responsible for improving the lives of the Palestinian people? There are several reasons, but one large reason is sadly: if the average Palestinian wasn't suffering, then the corrupt people holding power in the ranks of Fatah and Hamas would lose their position to others that would hold their peoples daily lives as a higher priority.  View

Israel the troublemaker??? What IS pathetic is that when Israel protects itself or responds to NUMEROUS attacks, there is a pitieous outcry for the poor poor perpetrators. Palestinians have a reputation for "never letting an opportunity for peace go to waste". Every peace treaty and concession by Israel is ALWAYS overshadowed by more rockets, bombings or kidnappings from Palestinians. Oh, and when you refer to "this Muslim," are you talking about the guy in charge of the cultural center, or the Hamas leader al-Zahar? Because there is a big difference. The Hamas leader made some frightening statements, but what do you expect? He's the chief of Hamas! But, he's also in the Gaza strip and nowhere near having anything to do with the cultural center.
