For some reason millions of people watch their show. Im certainly not one of them, but I do understand what doesn't appeal to me may appeal to others. When will u people get the fact that Newsy and most all other news outlets report on entertainment/celebrity happenings, and other quirky things that happen in the world. Skip it if u don't like it. I don't see people complaining about the Dark Night sequel. I mean is that really important, groundbreaking news?  View

Yeah workmule, that's what the news is for, our well being. Ever read the USA Today? World, Sports, Money and Life/Entertainment are the sections you'll find. All with varying degrees of importance. People generally read the sections that they care about. Why did u click on the story if u don't care about it. You know why I don't subscribe to Good Housekeeping? Because I don't give a sh** what they have to say.Back to the woods Boy!  View

Guys, just like the USA today app, newsy has multiple categories, entertainment being one of them. If you want relevant news, then stick to those sections of the app. Nuff said.  View

Al Sharpton says he won't report anything bad on Obama, and let me guess, This is MSNBC's balanced coverage. They are clearly not bias. MSNBC isn't even a news company any more, they should be considered entertainment tv, NOT NEWS.  View

It's sad that our society considers this entertainment, much less news. Are there not more important things to obsess over? No wonder the government gets away with what it does.  View

This provided good entertainment, the media did it's job. No one cares if news is accurate. Most of the news you take as fact is incredibly slanted or completely wrong. Anyway cheers to the media!!!  View

Seriously? This isn't news, this isn't even bogus entertainment, this is the opinion of a pseudoscientist with no real astrophysics education what so ever, he can pretend he is, but he's a gullible moron, like 90-95% of the human race. Then they jump to conspiracy theories because their regular life is so boring and dull, they need excitement. Why is it everyone's first conclusion that if you don't know what it is, it HAS to be aliens. Seriously? If the general population is that stupid, we are going to go extinct, in some blind rage, shooting nukes at each other or starting wars at the belief of something incredibly retarded. Newsy your journalism capabilities has plummeted indulging in every conspiracy theorists dreams, shows your lack of interest in reality and bringing this stupid idea to more people who will undoubtedly question the scientific answer and indulge in their own insanity. Also may I mention the reporter telling the story is sunburnt, no amount of make up will hide that. For now on, newsy should stick with real stories not crackpot theories. Seriously I am sick and tired of being surrounded by magical thinkers. (those who ignore reality, and stick with their fantasies and delusions)  View

There are two ridiculous arguments here. First: that playing violent video games somehow leads one to act out these things in real life, even rape. Completely absurd. If someone is mentally unstable enough to do this, it wont be a video game that causes it. The odds are much better that they were like that long before. Second: why do people see any opportunity to bring up the aggressive behavior in kids studies? What did EA say? This is entertainment for adults, not kids, and the M rating bears that out. Once again, if the kid gets their hands on Bulletstorm, it falls to the parent, not the game industry. Do your job parents! If you let your kid play games like this, you cannot blame the industry when they suddenly become aggressive. On a final note, Ive played the Bulletstorm demo. Its a good game, but not particularly remarkable. Its actually rather standard FPS fare, and certainly nothing for people to be getting so worked up over. Fox has too much time on their hands. Maybe they should spend that time researching what a real news organization does.  View

I've recently become addicted to Newsy.com. I have this site save to my Chrome web browser favorites and even have the Android app on my cell for watching/listening to at work. This site use to be a more "fair and balanced" by offering only the multiple truthiness from both right and left leaning commentary. Yet, with comments like "Hardly a veiled threat", Newsy.com's news compositions (outside of the Entertainment or Sports sections) this site is more and more gaining a discriminate voice. Troubling.  View
